Students in Industrial & Systems Engineering can enjoy the opportunity of having hands-on experience in the workplace through either an internship or cooperative education (“co-op”) program. These assignments offer valuable work experience, while enhancing the academic program. These opportunities are generally paid positions and are supplemental to the academic program. Therefore, all students participating in a co-op or internship program must complete all of their normal requirements for graduation.
Over the last few years, our students have worked in many well-known companies, such as General Electric, Gia Russa Manufacturing, Ball Corporation, Things Remembered, RMI Titanium, MacTrailer, Alliance Community Hospital, Parker Hannifin, Toys R' Us, General Extrusions, WCI Steel, H.B. Maynard, Honda of America, General Extrusions.
