These are the competitions that will be held at the SAC 2009. These competitions will run concurrently from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM on Saturday April 18th
This competition will reward excellence in communications skills.
Technical papers written by undergraduate IEEE members will be
evaluated by a panel of three judges from industry. The author must also deliver a short oral presentation of his/her work which will factor into the score. The submission for the paper competition is NOW CLOSED and no longer accepted.

This competition requires that a circuit be designed and built to
solve a problem given only a certain number of components and a given amount of time. Exact details of the competition will be dispersed at the time of competition.

A challenging and popular robotics competition involving the
construction of an autonomous robotic "mouse" that navigates to the center of a random maze from a specified corner in the shortest amount of time possible.

Displays for student projects will be judged and a winning project
decided by popular vote. The winner will receive a certificate and
plaque.

Student branches will be presented with ethical dilemmas and will have to devise solutions. The creativity and ethical soundness of these solutions will be judged.
